Today we find ourselves in a health conscious climate full of “the next great thing” diet programs and weight loss challenges.  We have all been down that road and for most of us, several times.  Sure, there are plenty of options to choose from Paleo to South Beach, Atkins to Weight Watchers.  I’m not going to sit here and preach, telling you “What” you should do or which program is best for you.  What I will say is that we all have different dietary needs based on our personal lifestyles.  I’m sure you will agree that the hard core athlete or competitor has much different needs than someone who is trying to just lose some weight and increase their energy.  Individuals with health risks face an entirely different set of challenges and are typically forced to make changes accordingly.  Bottom line is this ~ there is no one solution for everyone!  The key is for you to find a system or program that A. you can stick to and B. that works for you and your nutritional needs based on your lifestyle and activity levels.  One of the biggest hurdles for people to overcome is the expectation of instant results after only a few days.  Be patient and enjoy the journey.
